Start: 6:00 AM

End: ~4:00 PM

DC Peaks Warehouse

Park on south side of 1 Solar building

Transportation via trucks/side-by-sides

⏱️ Timeline

6:00 AM Meet at DC Peaks warehouse, pick up supplies
6:20 AM Transportation to Bountiful Peak via trucks/side-by-sides
7:20 AM Set up aid station
8:30 AM First 55K runners expected
9:00 AM First 50M runners expected to arrive
3:30 PM Last runners expected, begin cleanup
4:00 PM Return to DC Peaks warehouse

🎯 Responsibilities

🏃 Runner Support (CRITICAL)

  • ACTIVELY approach runners
  • Take bottles/packs and fill them
  • Ask: water, electrolytes, or both?
  • Offer food and nutrition
  • Provide encouragement!

📋 Runner Tracking (CRITICAL)

  • Check in EVERY runner arrival
  • Check out EVERY runner departure
  • Cannot be missed - safety critical

🏥 Safety & Medical

  • Know emergency procedures
  • Record drops (bib # and reason)
  • Coordinate medical needs
  • Contact race directors if needed

⚠️ Important Notes

  • ✓ Runners come from TWO directions: 50M (blue bibs) from Farmington Canyon, 55K (green bibs) from Parrish Creek Trail
  • ✓ It's 7 miles downhill to next aid station: 2 miles service road, then right onto Zig Zag single track trail
  • ✓ The race cutoff is at 5:00 PM at Aid Station #5, mile 35. If this is met, we'll wait for them at the finish.
  • ✓ AS3 must be prepared to cook quesadillas and pierogies for runners
  • ✓ StarLink internet provided - issues? Call Cameron: 385-238-5548
  • ✓ Weather contingency: May relocate to Farmington Pond (40.996167, -111.885411)
